Costume Discounters, Make A Wish Ballerina - Review

My 2 year old daughter is a "girly" girl!  She loves dolls & tea parties.  She gives kisses & hugs freely.  She has a huge collection of clothing, mostly dresses.  Each dress she puts on is a "ballerina dress" and she dances around on her tiptoes, twirling as she goes.

Looking in awe at her ballerina costume
I knew she'd love to have an actual ballerina costume for dress-up play so I was excited to be asked to do a review for Costume Discounters.  First let me say that there were SO many choices.  Pretty much anything you could think of looking for in a costume you'll find at their website.  Boys, girls, adults, even pets!  From infant up to plus sizes.  But that's not all they also sell accessories and decorations.  And the prices are amazing!  Perfect reason to build your tickle trunk stash or scope out the perfect Halloween costume now before the mad rush of the spooky season is upon us.

"Whether it is a costume for Halloween, your next party, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Mardi Gras, school plays, dance class, or a theater production, Costume Discounters has got you covered!"

After browsing the site for awhile I decided on the Make A Wish Ballerina Toddler Costume.  What a steal at the clearance price of $26.97.  Even better that It comes with a dress, dance pant, slippers, tiara, invitation note, show poster, ballet guide and congratulatory bouquet.  Everything your little girl will need to put on a show!  Very, very cute and I loved that it came packaged in a clear, plastic, zippered bag.  This way all the parts can be put away neatly when my little Ballerina is done playing!  I chose a size medium, which says it's for age 3-4, thinking it might be a bit big since my girl is small.  The dress fits her well.  The dance pant & slippers are a bit big right now but she'll grow into them.  I think with this costume it might be a tight fit and a bit short for the dress on a 4 year old, especially if they are a bigger child.  So, just be aware of the sizing.  The quality of the costume is much better than what you often find at various superstores.  There is a lot of detail put into the design and the fabric is soft and comfortable.  Do you remember those terrible plastic Halloween costumes in the past with the awful hard plastic masks you couldn't see out of or breathe through because the holes were so small?  No worries of that here!  My daughter actually wore the costume to playgroup and kept it on all day.  She even cried when she had to take it off and put on her pjs at bedtime.
Practicing her ballet moves!
